March is National Social Workers Month
Hello, I’m Bradley Madison, Administrator for ComPassion at Home, an affiliate of BSA ComPassion. Social workers are the liaison for patients so that the family can better navigate the health care system, which can be overwhelming and confusing. Social workers are a primary point of contact for patients and their families who help ensure all patient needs are met across the continuum of care. Social workers help coordinate specific services such as personal care to ensure a patient is adequately provided for – wherever they call home.
March, as National Social Workers Month gives us pause to solute all those who serve in this compassionate profession.
